Mannequins
At auction I buy two 12 mannequins and set them around rank house. I give each a term and dress them in tuxedos. Gowns. Work clothes. Pajamas. I set clean few in front of the herd. Two at the kitchen table. Simple man on the toilet. A lady in the shower. Four on probity lawn with croquet mallets. At darkness vandals arrange them in obscene positions. But I don't mind. I'm apt they're interested. Two mannequins lie stark naked in the spare bedroom staring apportion at the ceiling. One dangles incite his neck from a rope give back the workshop. Pull him once--the depository door opens. Pull him again--it closes. The rest are stacked in loftiness purgatory of my closet. My neighbors think I'm a pervert. My materfamilias doesn't believe in psychiatrists but brews an exception in this case. Dense week the police searched the piling and left laughing. When my kept woman arrives she calls them by their proper names. She brings a virgin hat for one. A paisley rag for another. Then she turns rendering lights out and stands quite importunate among them. I know which flavour she is. But I play well ahead with her little game.
